Luisa Baldhuber (*1994)
Luisa Baldhuber develops material systems in which psychological interiors and physical exteriors flow into one another. In her installations, glass objects and visual environments, space becomes a membrane between embodied experience, memory and the digital image sphere. Landscapes emerge not as locations, but as states — projections, mental topographies and spatially perceptible structures. Her first institutional solo exhibition, Afterglow, was presented at Haus der Kunst Munich from 2024 to 2025, while Baldhuber was still studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. In 2025, she completed her degree in Fine Arts as a Meisterschülerin under Prof. Peter Kogler. She has participated in group exhibitions and presentations at Heldenreizer Contemporary, Behncke Gallery, 229 LAB Paris, Kunstarkaden Munich, Art Düsseldorf 2026, and Various Others, among others. Baldhuber received the CeU Art Award in 2025 and the Debutant Prize of the Academy of Fine Arts Munich in 2021. She was awarded the PS61 Studio Scholarship in 2025 and has taken part in several residency programs, including A-Z West / High Desert Test Sites in California, Rocking S Art Ranch in Arizona, and G.Urban Platform in Armenia. She has studied and worked in Vienna and Cape Town. The artist currently lives in Munich.
