Luisa Baldhuber (lives in Munich) studied art education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich from 2015 to 2021 and received the Debutant Prize in 2021. From 2018 to 2019, she studied fine arts at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and received an Erasmus scholarship for the Universitat de Barcelona, Spain, in 2023. In February 2025, she completed her studies as a master student under Prof. Peter Kogler at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. She had her first institutional solo exhibition, “Afterglow,” at the Haus der Kunst in Munich in 2024-2025. Baldhuber has been awarded several residencies, including the A-Z West Work Trade Residency, HDTS, Joshua Tree, California, USA, in 2023, and the Rocking S Art Ranch Artist Residency, Phoenix, Arizona, USA, in 2024. In 2025, she received the CeU Art Award. Together with Charmaine Poh – Deutsche Bank “Artist of the Year” 2025 – Baldhuber will participate in the Art Düsseldorf Fair 2026 with the Behncke Gallery. Luisa Baldhuber's artistic interest lies in the relationship between color, space, and light and how these influence our perception of space. Baldhuber is currently a PS61 Studios scholarship holder for the year IV - 2025/2026 in Munich.
