"Sieben mit beste Aussichten" (SZ from 01.04.2026)⎮Luisa Baldhuber

On January 4th, 2026, journalist Evelyn Vogl wrote about Luisa Baldhuber, an artist represented by the gallery, in an article titled “Sieben mit besten Aussichten” ("Seven with the Best Prospects") in the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper:

"In fact, things have been going pretty well for the young artist in recent months. She has taken part in group exhibitions, had a solo exhibition at the Behncke Gallery, was represented at the Highlights art fair, won an award at the CeU Art Award, and had various residencies at home and abroad. (...) Luisa Baldhuber (...) takes up ideas from the ‘Light and Space’ art movement, which originated in California in the 1960s and inspired numerous artists – from Bruce Nauman and James Turell to Brigitte Kowanz and Olafur Eliasson, to name just a few of the best known. In addition to room installations, the young Munich-based artist also creates objects for which she uses very special glass on which she experiments with light. These objects are multi-layered and highly complex in construction, adding another level of understanding to her room installations. This sets her apart from many who rely on the label “immersive.” But Luisa Baldhuber is not interested in simple showmanship either."
