Meet the artist: How to start and continue collecting art

Friday June 23rd, 6pm–10pm and Saturday June 24th, 12noon–5pm

**Friday, June 23, 2023 from 6 p.m. and/or Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 12 p.m. (participation also possible on individual days) **

Join our Q&A Program and artist dinner for collectors: connect with artists, collectors, and curators to explore the essential aspects of art collection, including starting strategies, engaging with artists, building networks and curatorial perspectives.

You have wanted to start collecting art for a long time, but you don't know how? Are you dealing with questions such as "How do I find my collection focus?" or "How do I get to know the right artists and gallery owners?" Perhaps you are already well acquainted with the art scene and are curious about the intensive exchange with internationally up-and-coming artists and other collectors.

Then come to the first MUNICH COLLECTOR'S GUIDE, hosted by Dietlinde Behncke (ludwig space/ founder PIN. YC) and Dr. Franziska Thiess (Expert for Contemporary Art by Ketterer Kunst/ board of directors Freunde Haus der Kunst) at ludwig space, Ludwigstr. 7, 80539 Munich.

The Artist Dinner is curated by Verena Holthaus, founder of salon c/o, a concept store for modern tableware from various stylistic eras in dialogue with contemporary art in Werneckstrasse, Munich.
