Arrudas (1999, Fortaleza, Brazil) conducts, as an artist, a poetic research traversed bystudies in literature, psychoanalysis, semiotics, and human behavior, where heweaves pictorial critiques and reflections in oil paintings on surfaces such ascanvas and wood, and glazed ceramics.His works are distributed in public and private collections in Ceará, São Paulo, theUnited States, and Germany, and in the collection of Belas Arts National Museumin Rio de Janeiro. He has participated in group exhibitions such as the 22nd UniforPlástica, Fortaleza (2023), winning the Chancellor Airton Queiroz award, at theHub Cultural Porto Dragão, Fortaleza (2023); and Novena, the sacred and theprofane, Fortaleza (2024). His first solo exhibition was in 2024, Anamnese, curatedby Maria Eduarda Mota, at the Leonardo Leal Gallery, Fortaleza/CE, where he is arepresented artist.
